Join Emma Jayne online and learn how to create this very cute Bertie Bunny! Emma Jayne will guide you through the complete process from creating your own armature and internal food safe structure, sculpting the shape using modelling chocolate and creating the finer details such as Emma Jayne’s signature technique eyes. Emma Jayne will explain how to create Bertie Bunny using cake, share her tips and tricks with you and of course have fun! Create the bunny in your own time and ask any questions you wish by commenting in the group. You stay in the group indefinitely so you can watch as many times as you like.
Skills/Techniques you will learn:
- How to build a simple armature structure/frame support
- Introduction to modelling chocolate, and various pastes and colours used to create the piece
- How to make hand painted eyes with a realistic finish using various edible products
- How to scale and construct the facial features accurately, sculpting the features and bring to life with edible dusts.
- Various texture techniques including soft fur finish, eyelashes and board texture.
- Adding whiskers
- Making a bow tie as a finishing touch from modelling paste/gumpaste
- The body/neck shoulders will be made using Rice Krispie and Marshmallow for the tutorial with an explanation on how to make it with cake
- Materials list and step by step pictures provided
